What if my Asking Price is too low?

A You may not get more than what you asked.

What if my Asking Price is too high?

A You may not get any inquiry.

What if the actual deal was 50% of the Asking Price?

A You seldom settle for less, though you may. Your effective cost to sell would double then from 5% to 10% commission (equals 5% of Asking Price, which you name). That may still very well worth it. It is thus important not to ask too much or too less. That would waste anyone’s time and resources.

How can I gauge the Asking Price reasonably well?

A There are no rules but going rates in localities and categories, which you can easily learn about. Should you be frustrated by lack of potential Buyer inquiry, you may want to edit your listing, by adding that your Asking Price is now reduced. Yet, from there on, your new and reduced Asking Price will be disclosed to your potential Buyer. Previous Asking Price remains posted, and new ones marked as REVISED.

What if I am offered a higher than my Asking Price?

A You may edit your Asking Price, marked as REVISED. It will be posted next to your previous Asking Price. Lowered Asking Price is handled the same way. Remember that you pay the Commission over your own highest Asking Price.

What if I made a mistake in my listing and want to revoke or correct it?

A You may edit and remove your listing by using your control number assigned via email to you. To revoke, delete your offer. The Listing Number, Title and Asking Price, or its history, will remain posted marked as REVOKED.

Can I request re-listing in email or by phone?

A No. Just simply list it again. Keep your previous listings for copy-and-paste, should you need it again. Relisting previous listing is a new listing, with newly assigned posted Listing Number (LN) and your private Control Number (CN). Remember, listings are free and are posted indefinitely.

Do I need posting pictures?

A That is optional. It often helps. For instant, a patent offering can be quickly judged just by glancing at a picture of it. For patents, for instance, a selected figure from the application or the issued patent will do the best.

Q How deep the description shall go?

A In the allowed 200 words, you can describe the right offered, enough to get contacted by a prospective party. Abstract from patent application describes patents best. Other rights, may be specified as you wish, but be very specific.

Can I list without physical address, email address and phone or fax number?

A No. Those are mandatory. Your contact info however is not posted and not shared except with your potential Buyer, who requests it.  We do not involve in your dealing. Keep your dealing confidential.

Do you collect and share information on any deals?

A No. We require disclosing your identity to SRH only to enable direct buyer-seller negotiation. No one will see your contact info but the buyer. We do not share it with others, unless legal warrant by authorities in criminal cases would force us to do so. We may retain meta-data for our statistics, however.

Do I need to report my deals to anyone?

A Certain deals are regulated. It is your responsibility to check that out.

When does my reporting on deals obligation to SRH terminates?

A If your assignment is exclusive, it terminates upon your payment of the 5% Commission is received by SRH.

What if I cannot pay the seller’s commission in advance?

A Make contract with your Buyer so that within 5 business days you receive payment from your Buyer be able to pay the SRH Commission. SRH bill you via PayPal, which may have applicable options for late payments.

Is the final deal published?

A No. You as the Seller declare its value to SRH for Commission calculation purposes only. SRH is not responsible to keeping any record of any details of deals.
